Rooms in Rome
In april 2017 we had 5 fantastic days i Rome. The whole experience was great. the rom we booke with "Rooms in Rome" was great. Nice room and a nice bathroom. The room was cleaned every day and had everything we needed for our stay in Rome. For a very fair price Allesandro picked us up at the airport and took us their again when we left. Everything worked just the way it should. The room was situated 10 min. walk from The church of skt. peter and 15 min walk from the center with all its attractions. Perfect. The breakfast was in a small coffeshop nearby. Great and charmin. we will for sure use Rooms in Rome for our next trip to Rome.

Stayed for a short midweek trip with my partner. Rooms in Rome was absolutely brilliant! Reasonably priced, our en-suite room was very clean and modern. It's based in a quiet street with some restaurants nearby and just a 5 minute walk to St Angelos castle / 10 min walk to St Peters Basilica.
We paid €40 (20 each) for Alessandro to pick us up from the airport and take us straight to the B&B. He was very friendly, giving us maps and options for good places to eat that aren't your usual tourist stops.
Breakfast is the only thing that's slightly odd. We were given a ticket that we had to take to a nearby cafe (3 minute walk) and show it to get breakfast, although it wasn't really clear what was included. If you're a non hot drink drinker like me, I was given an odd look when I asked for an orange juice and told that it wasn't part of the deal so I had to pay for it. Nevertheless it's a very nice cafe with lots of pastries (just check which ones are included first else you may have to pay a small amount extra).
When we left, Alessandro allowed us to keep our bags in the B&B to save carrying them on our last day. There was also a very impressive shuttle coach just across the square which took us back to the airport for only €6 each!
All in all it's a great place to stay if you're looking for a quieter area that's not miles out of town (all main attractions are within walking distance) and is extremely good value for money.

The owner, Alessandro, picked us up from Ciampino airport. Fee was 40 Euro (a little steeper than a 30 Euro cab). He was chatty and helpful, providing good information about Rome on the drive into the City.
He made several restaurant recommendations which were excellent, and provided tips for getting around.
Being so well located, we did not need to use busses, cabs or trains. We simply walked everywhere.
The room was a basic couple's room with en suite facilities on the 4th floor. It was clean and well maintained. Every day a cleaner took care of resupplying and making the bed etc. Sheets and towels were changed every 2 or 3 days.
Free Wifi was available and worked quite well for general browsing and even watching the odd YouTube video.
Breakfasts were all provided by a local cafe, IL CATANESE. We showed up with a voucher on day one which the staff kept. Each morning we could go between 7:30am and 11:30am for coffee / tea, a croissant, blood orange juice, and toast (and toasted ham & cheese sandwich aka croque monsieur).
Alessandro's father came and picked us up for our trip back to Ciampino airport. He gave us a wonderful tour, showing us some of the old sites along the way.
We would certainly recommend Rooms in Rome for the budget conscious traveller looking for a good deal and quality accomodation.
